Story
Tsukushi Makino is a normal girl that, thanks to the efforts of her parents, attends one of Japan's top schools: Eitoku Gakuen. Since she is actually a poor girl, compared to her schoolmates, she tries to live unnoticed and her only wish is to finish high school that way, but through an incident she crossed the way of F4. F4, or "Flowers Four", are the four richest and most popular boys in Eitoku. They are the sons and heirs of extremely important families and companies and therefore, they are the rulers of Eitoku. The leader of F4, Tsukasa Domyouji, gets easily annoyed and everytime that happens, he sends a red notice to the person he dislikes, and the person marked will never have peace again in Eitoku.
By protecting a friend, Tsukushi stands against Tsukasa, which costs her a red notice. Now that everyone at school bothers her, and she will not be able to graduate unnoticed like she wanted to, she decides not to give up and declares war to F4. But eventhough F4 is her supposed "enemy", Rui Hanazawa, another member of F4, seems to like Makino's personality. Makino starts to have a fall for the gentle Rui, withouth noticing that Tsukasa is faliing for her too...

Tsukushi Makino (Mao Inoue)
Tsukushi (16), "the strong weed", tries to finish highschool without being noticed by any of her high class classmates, but an incident ended up in a war between her and F4. She dislikes being in Eitoku, but her family tries so hard to pay the school for her, that she doesn't want to dissapoint them. She starts to develop feelings for Hanazawa Rui at the beginning of the sotry.
Tsukasa Domyouji (Jun Matsumoto)
Tsukasa (17) is the arrogant heir of the Domyouji family, owners of a world-wide important company. He is also the leader of F4, a group that consists of the four richest and more popular students of Eitoku. Tsukasa is very violent and looks for fights when he is depressed. His life isn't exactly easy, since he doesn't get along with his mother. He started to get attracted to Tsukushi when she hit him and showed no fear to him - something no one else had done before.
Rui Hanazawa (Shun Oguri)
Rui (17) is the lonely and quiet member of F4. Not much is known about him, and he is rather misterious. He is confused about love, since he has feelings for his childhood friend Shizuka, but also for Makino. He becomes a close friend to Makino, and since he saved her several times, he is like a hero for her.
Soujiroh Nishikado (Shota Matsuda)
Soujiroh (17) is the heir of a tea family. He is a playboy, with several girlfriends at the same time. He is nice and gentle though, and helps Tsukushi's friend, Yuki, which makes her fall for him.
Akira Mimasaka (Tsuyoshi Abe)
Akira (17) is son of a mafia boss and he has good connections. He likes women older then him, but never gets into a more serious relationship. But like Soujiroh, he is also a nice person.
Yuki Matsuoka (Aki Nishihara)
Yuki (16) is Tsukushi's best friend. They have been friends ever since they were little children, but now the attend different high schools. They work at the same place though, a Dango shop, where Tsukushi always tells her what is going on at school. Yuki falls for Soujiroh after him helping her getting revenge on her ex.
Sakurako Sanjou (Megumi Sato)
Sakurako (16) seems to be a friendly, innocent girl at first that approaches Tsukushi and becomes friends with her, but actually, she wants to get revenge of Tsukasa, he treated her bad when they were little children. Sakurako has a very low self-steem, and has gone through cirjuries to make herself prettier.
Shizuka Toudou (Mayumi Sada)
A succesfull model and law student, Shizuka is Tsukushi's hero (she entered Eitoku because of her). Shizuka is a close friend of F4, and is also nice to Tsukushi when she meets her. Shizuka seems to have feelings for Rui, but due to her actions, it is never sure.
Haruo Makino (Susumu Kobayashi)
He is Tsukushi's father, and tries hard to pay her school, since he is very proud of his daughter going to Eitoku.
Chieko Makino (Mako Ishino)
She is Tsukushi's father and is also proud of her daughter going to Eitoku. It is also her dream that Tsukushi marries a rich guy to take them out of their situation, but she doesn't care wheter it's Tsukasa or Rui or anyone else with money. Still, she is a good mother who cares for her daughter.
Susumu Makino (Satoshi Tomiura)
Susumu is the perfect brother anyone could have. He supports his sister and tries to be the smallest economic burden for his parents, so that they can keep paying Tsukushi's school.
Kaede Domyouji (Mariko Kaga)
She is Tsukasa's mother and totally disapproves that her son marries a woman from a poor family. She tries hard to break the two apart, and wants to take Tsukasa away, so that he can concentrate on preparing to inherit the family's companie. She has never taken care of her role as a mother, and the only interest with her son in that he becomes a good heir.
Tsubaki Domyouji (Nanako Matsushima)
She is Tsukasa's older sister, who has a strong attitude, like Tsukushi. She cares a lot about her little brother and wants to support him and help him, so that he doesn't end up like her: in an arranged married, living happy, but with no real feelings inside her. She lives in the States, but flies quickly to Japan everytime help is needed over there.
